In a cage on a trailer in the middle of the desert, BlackWoman is abandoned. Not ready to die, BlackWoman escapes, and walks through pestilence and persecution, from desert to canyon to mountain to city, on a quest that leads her to find solace in her beginnings.

A film that ventures into a radical dystopia, which if it questions (as Pasolini’s Salo could do in his time) on the message it conveys, the view (misanthropic?) suffers too much implausibility, string and ellipses unwelcome to carry us. In extreme conditions, locked up in a cage, a young woman survives without even drinking, eating, or ensuring her natural needs … at least the camera and the script do not ask themselves these questions … This laziness of writing totally harms the form which could have otherwise taken on its share of mystery…
