The winners of the 33rd Dinard British Film Festival

José Garcia‘s Jury has delivered its verdict and has chosen to honor Frances O’Connor’s film Emily with the Golden Hitchcock for Best Film as well as its leading actress. This film with lyrical accents which are reminiscent of the cinema of Jane Campion (herself openly very influenced by Emily Bronte), leaves the festival with three awards (the film also won the audience award), and from our point view, this choice was the right one. This beautiful edition of the essential British film festival has once again made it possible to testify to the plurality of British cinema, in competition and among the previews.

José Garcia had taken care to note who should intervene, but there was still a cagade (a mutiny he will say with humor)
